Prateek and Shreya first met at a music concert three years ago, which was the beginning of a remarkable experience for them. They bonded instantly over their mutual interests in techno music and leading a healthy lifestyle. Both share a fondness for coffee and consider it an indispensable part of their routine.
Welcome Sundowner Dinner
The beautiful wedding celebration of Shreya and Prateek started with a beautiful and dreamy sundowner dinner to welcome all the wedding guests. Set in the glorious property of The Leela, Udaipur, Shreya and Prateek’s wedding was enveloped in luxurious views, the best hospitality and one of the most celebrated musicians in the country. Planned and executed end-to-end by Shreem Events, this beautiful wedding witnessed some of the most extraordinary decor elements and one that enlivens the heart of every lover. “When Shreya and Prateek approached us, they were very clear about the location and the fact that they wanted to utilise the space efficiently. The Leela is an extremely luxurious property but the couple chose to do their events and ceremonies only at the Rangmanch and Guava Garden so it is easily accessible for all guests.” shares Devanshi Patel, founder of Shreem Events.

White Wedding
Shreya and Prateek's wedding celebration began with a dreamy and serene white wedding. That’s what the bride, Shreya always wanted to do. “Shreya loved the idea of having a white wedding and we made sure to make her dream a reality.” adds Devanshi. The couple chose to host their ceremony in the beautiful Guava Garden, which is a part of The Leela, Udaipur. The entire space was decorated to look like a backyard setting, and the theme of the decor was inspired by the couple's bluebird invite. Right from flowers to small decor pieces, each element included throughout the space was highly personalised. As the sun set, the garden was transformed with the lighting of almost 1800 candles, creating a "stars in the sky" ambience and one that makes you lose yourself to the magical expression of love! The ceremony was officiated by a relative from Australia, making it an intimate and personal experience for the couple and their guests. This was further elevated by live music and the most beautiful notes by Best Kept Secret. The wedding bartenders created one of the most interesting bar menus with popcorn drinks and martinis that were a huge hit amongst the guests. The day was topped off with an after-party, where guests danced the night away to the beats of the exceptional DJ Krish.

Brunch Party
Day 2 of Shreya and Prateek's opulent wedding was a celebration of both tradition and modernity. The decor at the Guava Garden was changed overnight, and the morning began with an indulgent brunch event, where guests were treated to a sumptuous spread of food and drinks. These were accompanied by the melodious sounds of live percussionist Akash Harmalkar and DJ Krish. The brunch was made even more spectacular with a special appearance by Guru Randhawa, who gave them an unforgettable performance. Not just this, the guests were also treated to the services of a wine reader and a luxurious foot spa, making it a truly pampering experience.

Traditional Wedding
As the day progressed, the wedding planning team began preparation for the traditional wedding ceremony in the evening, which was, held at the Rangmanch. The groom entered with an extravagant baraat making it the most memorable part of the day. Making head turns with a unique decor choice, the couple and wedding planners decided to go the unconventional way and skip the traditional mandap. Instead, they let the picturesque outdoor venue, surrounded by trees, add a natural and mystical charm to the wedding. One of the most breathtaking moments was when the bride walked down the aisle with 250 kgs of flowers being showered on her and Jasleen Royal singing her most melodious songs for the bridal entry. Speaking about the modern mandap concept, Devanshi adds, “We decided to accentuate the natural beauty of the venue by using the trees for the decor, creating a truly bespoke and personalised experience for the couple. With the larger-than-life decor and the effortless blend of traditional and modern elements, each aspect of the Indian wedding felt straight out of a dream sequence.” Right from the smaller decor details to the larger services, hospitality, event planning, food and entertainment, the couple's vision of creating a personalised and unforgettable experience for their families and guests helped Shreem Events create three of the most magical days ever!
After the wedding pheras and nuptials, the couple threw an electrifying techno-after party that featured sparkling face tattoos by talented artists and a mesmerising display of LED lights throughout the hall, along with an amazing set by DJ Ashish and 6th Ocean, all while expert bartenders served up tantalising drinks.
