South Indian Superstar Rana Daggubati and beau Miheeka Bajaj had officially announced the commencement of their wedding ceremonies earlier in May with a Roka ceremony. They have finally tied the knot and the royal wedding of the duo is just breathtaking. The wedding was hosted at the Ramanaidu Studios in Hyderabad in full fervour. Many couples are taking that plunge of faith to celebrate their love as the world finds its way through the cloud of uncertainty that has gripped the world and live the new normal and one among them was also the superstar Nithiin's wedding. These Weddings in The Times of Corona are each a celebration to remember but this celebrity wedding was a class apart.

The Haldi Ceremony

The Haldi ceremony marked the beginning of the grand celebrations that were to follow up until the big wedding day. The bride-to-be flaunted a conventional yellow lehenga with a quintessential broad Gota Patti hem designed by Anand Kabra.

While floral jewellery is picked by most brided to complement the Haldi look, Miheeka Bajaj took it to a whole new level with her cowrie shell jewellery. This iconic shell jewellery set is a masterpiece of Arpita Mehta and its one of a kind nature was definitely a showstopper.

The groom looked handsome as ever in his crisp white shirt and dhoti with the narrow golden border.

The Mehndi Ceremony

The Tinsel town couple's Mehndi ceremony was no less magical. Miheeka wore a beautiful pink Anarkali designed by Arpita Mehta and completed her look with gorgeous pearl jewellery set by Krsala. Krsala was also Miheeka's jewellery designer for her Engagement/Roka ceremony. The cream Kurta pyjama with the mandarin collar worn by Rana Daggupati made him look stunning.

The Mehndi decor was done by the ever-talented team of wedding planners of Bling Mushrooms. The Mehendi setup was designed very daintily, using delicate and minimalistic elements that were synonymous with what the beautiful bride's nature. After researching so much on the colour board, they finally put these shades together. The furniture had to be picked very thoughtfully to create this visual treat for all. They had personalised favours designed by Puneet Gupta Invitation.

The Grand Wedding

The wedding looked nothing short of a royal fairytale that came to life. For the wedding ceremony, Rana Daggubati flaunted a heavy Pattu kurta and dhoti with a Kandva wrapped around his shoulders and was a sight for sore eyes. His outfit was designed by Kunal Rawal. The bride on the other handpicked an Anamika Khanna ensemble for the wedding. Miheeka Bajaj looked enchanting in her Anamika Khanna lehenga paired with jewellery from Krsala. The antique jewellery set consisting of the Matha Patti, glass bangles, a nose ring, earrings and a statement necklace made her look outstanding. 

The vows ceremony was celebrated in both Telugu and Marwari traditions and this intercultural wedding was one to remember! The vows ceremony moments were captured brilliantly and each frame is so full of love. Right from Pellikoduku ceremony to taking pheras, no major ritual was missed, sources suggest. Rana and Miheeka sat on silver and rusted orange settees to perform the wedding rituals in a white coloured mandap at Ramanaidu Studios.

The above picture showcases the details of Miheeka Bajaj's pastel lehenga. The lehenga is a hand done Zardosi with the finest form of Chikankari work and gold metalwork teamed with a woven gold dupatta. This fine creation took close to 10000 manhours to make and it sure is the ultimate showstopping piece.

Their wedding was celebrated in a dreamy way and all of it while keeping up with the safety protocols that the government has issued regarding the entire pandemic situation. Presence of sanitiser stands, face masks and disinfectant tunnels at the venue and following the social distancing norms ensured that safety was of the highest priority. On an interview earlier with a news channel earlier, Rana Daggubati's father Dr Suresh Babu was heard saying that even the close friends were not being invited to keep the guest list strictly below 30.

They had their friends and other guests who would have been a part of their wedding if the pandemic had not restricted it watched their wedding virtually. The portal was also open for a few moments for the public to watch.

The attendees of this celebrity wedding were less than 30 in number and each member has been tested for COVID-19 before stepping foot into the bio-bubble. The whole street leading up to the Ramanaidu Studios and the wedding venue was cordoned off by security personnel.

Miheeka's makeup was done by Makeup Artist Tamanna for all her ceremonies.

The couple has been captured so beautifully in their element. They were even captured while striking a pose with their photography team and the happy faces are testimony to the exuberant celebration.
