Strengthen Your Core Or Do Cardio

Cardio is not just limited to heavy exercises. Even refreshing and invigorating activities like swimming, skipping, brisk walking, running the stairs or even dancing can be counted as cardio.

Our personal favourite and highly recommended cardio - swimming. Nothing reduces your stress levels as much as the calm water! Doing cardio for 20-30 minutes each day is a great way to prep yourself for your wedding.

Do resistance training

Resistance training is a great way to not just boost your overall health but also to tone your muscles. You can look flawless easily with continuous resistance training. However, it is highly advisable to do so under supervision, especially if you’re new to the world of resistance training.

Walk For Half An Hour Every Day

Nothing, we repeat nothing has the capability to refresh your mood as walking. If you’re walking in a park, that’s even better. Make sure you take a bottle of water or some natural homemade concoction with you while walking. Walking is a complete exercise in itself and helps to tone up your muscles and increases your metabolism as well.

Avoid Liquid Calories

Liquid calories are almost like poison - almost! Okay, we may be exaggerating but liquid calories are no elixir either! The thing with liquid calories is that you can consume large volumes of it and still not feel like you’ve had anything. Think of cold coffee with ice-cream and all sorts of sweeteners. You may drink a mug full of it and consume more calories than your average meal. If you've been wondering how to get a flat stomach - this is where you start making some changes for the better.

Limit Refined Carbs

White rice, white flour, white bread, sodas, pasta, breakfast cereals, sweets - all contain refined carbs. Limit your intake of them. Limit word is the most crucial here because cutting all the refined carbs from your diet may lead to health issues and in turn, make your skin look dull. It's always a better idea to let your body slowly adjust and adapt to a healthier diet instead of forcing it to completely avoid something.

Avoid Gases & Air!

Here is how to get a flat stomach- avoid the intake of gases and air, accidental or otherwise. You may have a habit of chewing gum, but it leads to a belching and hence must be avoided. Likewise, talking while eating may lead to swallowing of air. This again won’t help you with getting a flat stomach. Similarly, avoid sodas as they contain air - literally.

Practice Mindful Eating

How to get a flat stomach by practising mindful eating? Mindful eating means not simply reducing calories without thinking about it. Mindful eating says it is okay to eat a mango or a banana or honey regardless of the calories they have. It essentially means that more than counting calories mindlessly, you should be focusing on choosing what you are eating.

Reduce Stress

Stress kills. There, we’ve said it out loud. Stress acts like a slow poison for your mind and body. Stress forces your body to act and react in undesirable ways and release hormones which are not healthy for your belly as well as your body. Stress may even lead to hyper-acidity and a bloated belly. So, just chill. Yes, reducing stress is the answer to how to have a flat stomach.

Sleep, Sleep & Then Sleep Some More…

Sleeping is important for your body. Sleeping doesn’t lead to a flatter tummy directly. But here’s how to get a flat stomach by sleeping. While you’re sleeping your body is still working and requires calories to function, so you’re burning calories while asleep as well. Albeit not as much as doing cardio would, but still it is sufficient. While sleeping you wouldn’t eat and hence, would consume fewer calories per day.

Another thing to note here is that when you get enough sleep, your body functions properly and your stress levels reduce and hence the erratic cravings can easily be kept in check. That way you're consuming lesser calories again!

Don’t wait. Start your routine today and slay on your wedding day. After all, it’s a memory of a lifetime.

Still wondering how to get a flat stomach? Then stop wondering right now and start doing something for it today. Are you ready?
