There are 2 crucial parts of the process of undergoing a Court marriage:

Serving Notice

- A similar set of documents, affidavits and proofs are required to be submitted to the marriage registrar. The couple needs to be physically present along with the chosen witnesses for both the parties.

- A notice, defining the intent of both the concerned parties of getting married is put up on the court bulletin. It stays on the board for a period of 30 days in order to give a chance to the concerned parties or their families to come up with any objection regarding the same.

-Once no objection occurs after the completion of the one-month long period, a notice is issued to them stating the permission for the marriage. The couple can get married on the very next day.
