Can I participate if I have already booked with a honeymoon agency?

Yes, if you win, we will reimburse you the cost of your honeymoon (up to ₹3,50,000), as long as the agency or company is listed on our site. Discover honeymoon travel agents here.

How do I know if I have successfully entered the contest?

Once you have registered on this page (new WWI user) or this page (for existing WWI user), you will get a confirmation that you can now access your passport. You'll also be notified via email. If you are registered correctly, you will be able to enter the page with your Wedding Passport and see the stamps you've earned and the stamps you are missing. When you complete your passport, you will be in the raffle.

Who can participate?

Anyone can participate as long as they are over 18 years of age and reside in India. The prize can only be spent if your wedding will be held in India to cover the honeymoon expenses of one (1) vendor advertised on WeddingWire. in. If you are not getting married in India, make sure you share this news with your engaged family and friends so that they can enter the contest.

When will the winner be announced?

We will contact the winner in mid-November 2025 by telephone and will publish their name at the end of November or beginning of December 2025.

Are the passport stamps updated automatically?

Yes, each time you request more information from a wedding vendor in a new category, you will automatically receive a stamp. That said, your stamps may take a moment to appear on your passport page, or you may have a delay receiving the email confirmation with your new stamp. If it takes more than 24 hours to appear, please contact our team at info@weddingwire.in so that we can review your case. You could also try cleaning your cache, and if it still doesn't update, contact us.

Should I not hire any vendor or venue until the winner has been announced?

You can stay on track with your plans and book your vendor or venue via WeddingWire.in before they are booked out. If you end up winning, we will reimburse the cost you paid towards your honeymoon (up to ₹ 3,50,000).

What if I register on the wrong page?

Only registrations made on this page will count. If you have any problems registering, please contact us via this email: info@weddingwire.in.

Can I win if I'm getting married outside of India?

No, the prize amount (₹ 3,50,000) will go towards your honeymoon from your wedding in India.

Which vendors are included?

The prize of ₹3,50,000 must be spent towards the honeymoon. This means that any vendor that provides travel or honeymoon services and is listed on WeddingWire.in is included.

Can I use the prize money to book with a wedding vendor not listed on WeddingWire.in?

No, the vendor must be listed on WeddingWire.in. Please note that if you book with a vendor who isn’t listed on our platform, we won’t be able to reimburse the cost. However, you can use the prize money to book additional services, trips, or new packages with another vendor who is listed on WeddingWire.in. If you’d like to book with a specific travel agency that isn’t currently on our platform, you can invite them to register—it’s completely free.

Will I be able to choose the date of my honeymoon?

To be eligible for the prize, your wedding must take place between 2nd September 2025 and 30th September 2026, and your honeymoon must be scheduled between 1st November 2025 and 31st December 2026. If your wedding is in December 2026, your honeymoon can take place up to 60 calendar days after the wedding. Within these timeframes, you are free to choose whichever dates work best for you.

Is the prize transferable? If I win, but I don't want it, can I give it to an engaged friend?

No, this prize is non-transferable. If you have family or friends who are getting married, make sure you share contest landing page with them so that they may participate as well.

What happens after the honeymoon?

WeddingWire India will work with you and your chosen vendor to share your story and inspire other couples. This may include creating content about your wedding and the competition experience.

I signed up for the contest and am in the running, but I can't find my passport to see my progress. Where is it?

On desktop, visit your WeddingWire India profile and click on the section 'Wedding Passport'. On the app, tap the three dots at the bottom of the screen and select Wedding Passport from the menu. If your login details weren’t saved, you’ll need to log in using the same email and password you used to register on WeddingWire India.

How can I increase my chance of winning?

You can receive your fourth stamp that counts as a double entry in the contest. For this, you must contact four wedding vendors or service providers listed on WeddingWire India, in distinct categories (e.g. decorator, photographer, entertainment, makeup artist). Do this by sending them a personalised message directly on the vendor's listing in our platform. Any information requests made outside WeddingWire won't count. You must make these requests between the 22nd of September and the 31st of October, 2025. You will automatically receive a notification of your double entry.

I sent messages to several vendors before the 22nd of September 2025 - will I receive stamps on my passport?

You must send requests for more information from wedding vendors between the 22nd of September and the 31st of October, 2025 in order to double your participation, and always after having signed up to the contest on this page. We recommend that you explore new services you may be interested in.

I requested information from a wedding professional, but didn't receive a stamp.

Make sure you are registered in the contest, so that you can receive stamps and participate.

Also, remember that to receive distinct stamps, your requests to vendors must be from different categories (photography, catering, favours, florists…). You will probably want to contact multiple professionals in the same category or service to be sure you hire the right person; just remember that you'll only receive one stamp. If my honeymoon is in the same location as my destination wedding, can I use the prize towards my wedding?

No, the prize must be used for payment of honeymoon services provided by professionals listed on WeddingWire.in.

I downloaded the app within the timeframe 22nd of September to 31st of October, so does that mean I'm participating in the Wedding Passport contest to win a honeymoon?
