Horrible experience
We got Akash's recommendation from a mutual friend. My wife and I had high expectations but even after around 2 years, we are so frustrated with the whole thing that happened. It's almost 2 years of our wedding and we have not received the finalized wedding teaser and other deliverables.
Photography wise it was ok-ok experience, but delivery experience from Akash and Square Canvas team is the poorest and horrible that I have ever experienced. Whenever I asked him when can he deliver, such as, edited photos or videos then he will give some date and he would fail to deliver on that date and when we text him then he won't reply and he won't call. There is absolutely NONE ownership from him. It felt like we have to take ownership of getting it completed from his side, he has ZERO ownership to finish things and give it on time.
It is so frustrating that we have to cancel out the remaining deliverables (I.e. 2 reels, final wedding video, wedding teaser edit etc) and now we are using some online apps to complete on our own.
We have to involve our mutual friend many a times because he was not replying or taking ownership. We didn't feel comfortable involving our friend, but because Akash was not replying to us, we had no other option. Even after involving our mutual friend, the deliverables were still not provided on time.
Akash and Square Canvas team are HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED to anyone who expects timely deliveries. Throughout this experience, it felt like we were putting in more effort to get the work completed than they were.
DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY WITH AKASH MANDLIK AND THE SQUARE CANVAS TEAM, GUYS!
