Review:
Our family hosted our wedding event on 25th and 26th October 2025 at Sristii Villas, managed by Meragi Events. Unfortunately, the catering team led by Mr. Praveen displayed extremely unprofessional, rude, and insensitive behavior during both the evening reception and the morning Muhurtam.

They refused to provide water bottles even after several polite requests. Guests were expected to walk all the way to the dining hall every time just to get water. When we suggested keeping water cans with disposable glasses near the room reception, the staff rudely replied that “it was not agreed with the agency.”

When I personally asked for an extra water bottle while having lunch, the service staff whispered, “Sir, they will blast me if I ask — we were told to give only one bottle per person, that too once.” Hearing this in front of my colleagues from the Customs and Income Tax Department, where I also serve, was deeply humiliating.

Adding to this, around 50% of the tea and coffee cups provided were leaking, and when we requested to send even one cup of coffee to the bride’s room, the staff bluntly denied, saying they couldn’t do that. This showed a complete lack of courtesy and basic hospitality.

Several senior officials, including Assistant Commissioners and Commissioner-level officers, attended our event and expressed disappointment, stating that “a better caterer could have handled things far more professionally.” As hosts, it was extremely embarrassing to face such remarks.

To make matters worse, the kitchen was shut sharply at 9:00 AM, and guests arriving slightly late were rudely denied food. Though Mr. Vallab tried his best to manage the issue, the damage was already done.

We urge Meragi to take strict action against such behavior and re-evaluate their catering partners. A wedding is once in a lifetime — not a place to display arrogance, negligence, and lack of respect.

Extremely poor experience. Deeply hurt and disappointed.

A couple of weeks ago, we had the joy of celebrating my brother's wedding at the International Club in Gurgaon. It was a two-day extravaganza filled with all the rituals and functions of a traditional marriage, made seamless and magical, thanks to the incredible efforts of Team Meragi from Bangalore. 

From the vibrant Mehndi to the emotional Vidai, Meragi’s team, led by amazing members like Urvashi, Jhanvi, and their dedicated crew, ensured that everything was flawlessly executed. This was their first time organizing an event in Gurgaon, yet they made it feel like they were seasoned pros in the area. 

Planning a wedding outside our home city is never easy, but Meragi and their team made it look effortless. They were not only professional and organized but also warm, friendly, and always ready to cater to our needs. Their attention to detail, hard work, and commitment made these two days absolutely unforgettable for all of us. 

We are deeply grateful for the memories they helped create—ones we will cherish for a lifetime. Words cannot express how much we appreciate their dedication and effort. 

For anyone looking for an event planner, we wholeheartedly recommend Meragi. They will go above and beyond to turn your special moments into magical experiences.

It was a great experience to organise a Grand traditional wedding at Bangalore with Team Meragi.Aayesha,Bhumiti, Aishwarya,Ram,Headed by Varsha &their strong Hospitality team were a great support in arranging and managing all functions at Mulberry Shades and Amita Rasa Nandi hills.I would strongly suggest people to spend time and work in coordination with the Team for best results.

Having the Meragi team plan our wedding in India was the best decision we made! Planning a wedding from across the world is not easy but Meragi made sure there was no detail left behind. They were so attentive to every aspect of the planning and execution process. In the end we had a two day wedding in which all of our friends and family had a blast. Since the wedding we’ve heard feedback including “that was the best wedding I’ve ever been to” and “it was epic - felt like a Bollywood wedding”. Even we were able to have a great time since we had Meragi to attend to all the day-of issues that inevitable come up. Because of the time zone differences we had meetings at odd hours for almost a year. The team was always accommodating. Every single member of the team that worked on our wedding was unbelievably professional and respectful of all our guests and vendors. We can’t recommend them enough! Shoutout to Anjana, Ayesha, Swati, Shravani, Mayank and the rest of the crew!!

Worst Experience ever with any company or a startup claiming to a brand
Please don't trust the team & their false promises
Initially everything will go well unless a customer pays 100% amount
Actual harassment starts when you realize that even after paying almost 2X of market price & you get the poorest quality work done in terms of fabric or used flowers or internal poor coordination withing sales & on ground team. Also, Non responsive and helpless team members while execution irritated us a lot.
We wish we would have gone with some local vendor

You guys made things more beautiful with your personal touch to the whole event. Running here n there for small urgent requests, always being positive and professional; just made everything better and sorted.

Very hands on and accommodating. Bhakti was our RM and Meghana the design consultant. They both did a fantastic job in giving my husband and I an intimate yet elegant wedding!

One of the worst planners in town, they don’t deserve to call themselves event planners/managers. The work was so shabby, looked like a toddlers work of art.
Even the worst local tent house would have a done a way better job.
Please don’t fall into their trap and make advance payments.
They made my special day a very stressful and painful day.
If anyone from team meragi is reading this please learn the art first before getting into this business, it’s a very emotional journey for the families involved you guys are supposed to make it a memorable day not a disaster.
