Very unprofessional
Worst Experience with Saikat from Castaway Hospitality – Deeply Disappointed as a Mother
I am writing this review with a very heavy heart. My son’s wedding was one of the most important days of our lives — a day filled with emotion, love, and once-in-a-lifetime memories. Unfortunately, our experience with Saikat from Castaway Hospitality has cast a long shadow over it.
Despite making full payment, Saikat has failed to deliver the wedding photos and videos. My son, the groom himself, has reached out multiple times, but there has been no response and no delivery of the promised work. It is beyond disappointing — it feels like a betrayal.
As a mother, I am devastated. We trusted Castaway Hospitality to capture and preserve the most special moments of our family’s celebration. Instead, we are left with silence, broken promises, and no memories to look back on. Saikat’s unprofessionalism and lack of accountability are unacceptable.
I would strongly caution anyone considering Castaway Hospitality or working with Saikat. Please think twice before trusting them with your precious memories -

Unprofessional and Unethical Experience with Castaway Hospitality & Saikat
As the groom, I had entrusted Castaway Hospitality and Saikat with capturing one of the most important days of my life. However, my experience with them has been extremely stressful and disappointing.
My best friend, Mukul, who coordinated with Saikat throughout the wedding, wrote an honest review about his experience. Instead of addressing the feedback professionally, Saikat is now threatening us, stating that he will not deliver our wedding photos and videos unless Mukul deletes his review. This is completely unethical, especially since we had paid the full amount before the wedding.
On top of this, Saikat is continuously harassing us through emails, falsely accusing Mukul of defaming his company. A review is a personal experience, not defamation. Mukul simply shared what he went through, and every client has the right to express their honest feedback.
It’s been 2 months now and SAIKAT has not handed over our Album ,videos and photos even after full payment prior to wedding.
This entire situation has caused me immense mental stress, as our wedding memories are being unfairly held hostage. Professionalism and integrity matter, and unfortunately, our experience has shown a serious lack of both -

I am writing this as a friend of the bride and groom who also had the responsibility of coordinating this wedding on their behalf. What I witnessed here was beyond a disaster—it was an absolute nightmare.
If you are even considering hiring Castaway Hospitality or Saikat, the so-called “wedding coordinator,” I beg you to reconsider. The story he shares online? Pure fiction. What actually happened? A chaotic, stressful, and infuriating experience that nearly ruined the most important day of my friends’ lives.
Hiring Saikat – The Worst Decision We Made
The couple hired Saikat six months before the wedding, trusting him to handle things professionally. That trust? Completely misplaced. From the very start, he was rude, manipulative, and only interested in squeezing as much money as possible out of the couple. If their budget was ₹5 lakhs, he made sure they were forced to spend at least ₹10 lakhs more.
His first scam? Pressuring the bride into booking an overpriced venue with minimal services, all while trying to push run-down, subpar hotels for the guests—just because he had commissions lined up. After endless arguments and insisting against his will, we finally managed to secure a better hotel on our own.
And then came the overcharging.
• He billed us separately for décor, DJ, and bridal entry, despite it all being INCLUDED in the banquet package—costing an extra ₹1 lakh.
• He inflated charges for varmala and transportation.
• And on the wedding day? He was completely missing.
The Wedding Day Horror
The venue was supposed to be ready by 5:00 PM. But when I arrived? It was a mess.
• Lights were still off.
• The place smelled like burnt oil.
• Piles of chairs were stacked around like a storage room.
• Staff had no clue what was going on.
Guests were already arriving, and instead of enjoying the celebration, I had to step in and start directing the staff—something Saikat was paid to do but was nowhere to be found.
When I tried calling him? He ignored every call.
And where was he? Locked in a room (that WE paid for) drinking alcohol with two random people he called his “team.” His phone sat ringing beside him, ignored, while we scrambled to fix the mess. When we finally confronted him, instead of apologizing, he got aggressive!
And if you think that was the worst part? He stranded 80 guests at the wedding.
After the event, we discovered that he had sent back ALL the vehicles—AFTER we had already paid for them. Imagine being at a wedding and realizing at 3 AM that there are no cars to take people home. From 3 AM to 5 AM, I had to personally call every travel agent in Kolkata to arrange emergency transportation.
The Verdict – A Liar, a Scam Artist, and the Worst Coordinator Ever
Saikat has zero sense of responsibility, zero professionalism, and zero integrity.
• He will overcharge you at every step.
• He will vanish when you need him most.
• He will make drunk calls to clients at 11 PM.
• And at the last minute, he will simply tell you, “You’re on your own.”
As a friend of the bride and groom, and as the person who had to clean up his mess, I urge you—DO NOT hire him for your wedding.
Save yourself the stress. Save your wedding. Save your money -

Such a wonderful hassle free experience
They really know how to arrange an event perfectly. each & every member of their team was very knowledgeable and efficient. we r very much satisfied.
