We hired 2Cr8 Memories for our destination wedding in Goa, and unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing. In the weeks leading up to the wedding, I repeatedly requested payment details and account information because I knew that as the bride, I would not be able to manage financial transactions during the wedding itself. Despite multiple follow-ups, payment arrangements remained unclear. We expressed our preference for online payments, but were repeatedly asked to make payments in cash. On the day before and the day of our wedding, while we were occupied with wedding preparations, we continued receiving messages and calls regarding pending payments. New account details were provided on the wedding day itself, and we were expected to transfer funds immediately. What was most upsetting was the timing and manner in which these payment demands were handled. My husband received calls regarding payments even during our wedding ceremony. Later, while we were getting ready for our reception, co-founders of the company came to our room demanding immediate payment. This added significant stress during what should have been one of the happiest moments of our lives. The most shocking incident occurred just before our reception entry. We were informed that our entry song would not be played and that the event would not proceed unless the pending payment was made in cash. Being stopped moments before our reception entry over a payment dispute was deeply distressing and completely overshadowed our experience. We understand that vendors need to receive payment, and we had every intention of settling all dues. However, there is a time, place, and professional way to handle such matters. Repeated demands, interruptions during wedding ceremonies, and last-minute pressure placed on the bride and groom are simply unacceptable. I would strongly advise future couples to discuss and document payment terms, methods, and timelines in writing well before the event. Unfortunately, our experience with 2Cr8 Memories added unnecessary stress to what should have been one of the most memorable days of our lives.
