Where do I start? Choosing a wedding photographer and videographer is probably the most important decision to make in planning a wedding (in my opinion at least). The photos and the wedding film are going to be the only physical evidence that's going to allow us to re-live our important day for years to come.

So naturally, deciding on wedding photographers was such a difficult task for me and my partner. We had been in touch with a few great photographers in Chennai, but what sealed the deal was Aadil's personal touch through our initial phone call. From that moment onwards, till our album and films were delivered, it felt like I was interacting with a friend. Aadil and his team were splendid. If you're looking for these qualities with your wedding photography team, then go with Roving Lens without a second thought:
1. Communication - Excellent communication maintained by the team throughout the process till the very end through whatsapp messages and phone calls where needed.

2. Non-invasive photography - I cannot emphasise how important this was! The wedding is busy, chaotic and nerve wracking as it is and the last thing you need is a photography team ordering you around/ invading private moments for 'special photos' and disrupting the natural flow of events. During the flow of the wedding and the reception I barely noticed the team - they were quietly spread across the important parts of the venue capturing every moment. This brings me to my next point

3. A big team - There were always 6-8 (or more) team members (mix of candid & conventional photographers/ videographers and light assistants) to make sure nothing was missed and this allowed the non-invasive capturing.

4. Honest & Accommodating - There were a few moments during the process where I didn't entirely agree/understand the details/arrangements. And whenever I had a different opinion I was able to freely discuss this with Aadil and his team. He was always patient and gave honest insights into the functionality and logistics. Furthermore, my partner and I were nit-picking key details in our wedding film and went through a few edited versions with the team over a period of 4-6 weeks. The team patiently obliged to all our requests and the final product was perfect and to our liking.

5. Turnaround time - We received all our deliverables (photo album, conventional video and wedding film) within 4-5 weeks from the date of the wedding. We obviously then fed back some changes and edits as mentioned above. But, incredible delivery time and I didn't have to chase them once.
