I’ve known Ranjan da for over 16 years — long before destination weddings and Instagram filters became the norm. Back then, he was already setting benchmarks in fashion photography, and I was lucky to work with him in Kolkata’s early fashion circuit.
Cut to today — we bump into each other again at Nikita Sharma’s grand Mumbai wedding, and I see that nothing’s changed… except everything has evolved. His craft is sharper, his instincts stronger, and his eye? Still unmatched.
In between pheras and paparazzi, he managed to capture me in a frame that made even my manager in Bandra go, “Anwesha, you look like a Netflix bride!”
His energy is effortless, and his ability to connect with models, guests, brides, even the dadi on the sofa — that’s what sets him apart. No wonder he’s every model’s favorite photographer — we don’t just pose for him; we trust him.
