From venue coordination and décor to timelines and vendor management, every aspect was handled with exceptional care and precision. This event planner was an absolute nightmare from start to finish, and I regret ever hiring them. From the first meeting, it was clear they had no idea what they were doing. They showed up late to every appointment, were unprepared, and couldn’t even remember the basic details of our conversations. I constantly had to remind them of things we’d already discussed, and even then, they still got it wrong.

When the day of the event finally came, I was already dreading it, and rightfully so. They were hours late setting up, and when they did finally arrive, it was clear they hadn’t even read the plan I sent them multiple times. The venue looked NOTHING like we had discussed, and the entire décor was thrown together haphazardly at the last minute. The chairs were mismatched, the lighting was off, and half the elements I specifically requested were missing.

To make matters worse, they brought along a team of completely untrained and unprofessional staff. They were rude to my guests, made mistakes throughout the entire event, and were utterly clueless about what to do. I had to step in and manage the event myself, making decisions and fixing mistakes that should never have happened in the first place.

They didn’t even try to make up for any of it—no apology, no offer of compensation, just a total lack of accountability. It was clear that they didn’t care about my event or my experience at all. Honestly, they should be out of business. Save yourself the frustration, and do NOT hire them. This planner made my special day feel like a total disaster.
