We hired Royal Wedding for my brother’s wedding in Goa in November, and our experience from start to finish was the worst we could have imagined. Our points of contact were Marissa and Akanksha Khamb, and unfortunately, their behaviour and service left us and our guests deeply disappointed.

The Sangeet stage was dangerously unstable — built on a slope, shaking constantly, and clearly unsafe for more than a handful of people. When we raised concerns, instead of fixing it, the team was rude, dismissive, and disrespectful, even towards our elderly parents. Many guests pointed out how unsafe the setup looked.

But the most unacceptable part: right before the Sangeet function began, they demanded full payment and threatened to shut down the genset if we didn’t immediately comply. I was literally asked to go back to my room and get cash while I was about to enter the event. This level of intimidation was shocking. I had to involve Taj staff and send a voice note promising payment after the event just so they wouldn’t disrupt the ceremony.

The moment the function ended, they again insisted I bring the payment before I could even have dinner.

This rude, coercive, and unprofessional behaviour continued during the Haldi and wedding as well. There were many other issues too, but they feel minor in front of the fact that a wedding planner threatened to shut down our family’s function during the event.

For the price and promises they make, Royal Wedding delivered nothing close to professionalism or safety.

Royal Weddings did a splendid fantabulous job for my wedding at Holiday Inn Goa.
I had no worries to look after the decor pre-production. It was done very smoothly, dot on time , with impeccable and flawless efforts. Decoration was par excellence and what impressed me the most was total devotion by the duo Romeo and Marissa. Other than our professional relationship we have become good friends. I highly recommend the services of the company . They do make weddings royal!!! And yes they do beautiful work befitting one's budget!!!
