I got in touch with the owners (Mr. Ramit and Mrs. Devnashi Manchanda) on WeddingWire. He gave me a rough estimate of stay, catering, and decoration (50 pax), which was exactly under my budget. Ramit's words were "Check it out, stay here for a day, and then decide!" which were very assuring. In the beginning, I was nervous about booking the venue online since I wasn't available to visit the venue in person, so my friends checked it out, and she loved it. So, my brother visited the venue to put down the advance. And in no time, the wedding day was here. Some of the key points that I found extraordinary: 1. I was so impressed by the beforehand planning and heads-up calls by the management, which made my life easier planning the whole wedding myself. 2. Anytime I had a question or concern, the Hotel India team had a quick, subtle, and positive response. 3. I was a little concerned about the entry from the main market, but the transition was so smooth from luggage to guest transfer on the day of arrival as well as departure. Commendable coordination of the hotel staff and workers. 4. The venue was ready on time so that ceremonies can start as planned. 5. Food was delicious with a variety of options available (must try their beetroot halwa amongst all other options). 6. No last minute surprises in the bill or demands. Very very-professional. 7. The owners were very friendly. I felt like a family member was organizing everything. Being a bride and managing things by myself!! Oh God! Hotel India made my life very easy. 8. And THE VIEW!! The property is located in the mountains with a visible view of the valley and mountains at the same time. Everybody loved it. No one wanted to leave the place including us so we extended our stay one more day after the wedding at the venue. 9. Great hospitality. Must visit once!! Careful, you might want to stay there forever :) 10. 10/10... recommended if you want a wedding-to-remember type of planning.
