Best Riverside Resort for Destination Wedding in Rishikesh
Location and Views: Camp Brook is situated in Ghattu Ghat, on the Neelkanth Temple Road, 9 km from Tapovan in Rishikesh. The camp's setting is stunning. Located right on the Heval River, a tributary of the Ganges, the natural beauty around the resort is breathtaking. The sound of the river, the lush greenery, and the mountains in the distance made everything feel so peaceful and serene. It’s the perfect blend of nature and elegance, making it a magical spot for any wedding.
Wedding Setup: The team at Camp Brook did an incredible job setting up the wedding. The river held the ceremony, and the view was nothing short of spectacular. The decor was tasteful, featuring beautiful floral arrangements and twinkling lights that created a romantic and intimate atmosphere. It felt like something out of a dream, especially as the sun began to set over the river.
Accommodations: The rooms were fantastic! There are a total of 40 rooms, including luxury cottages, garden huts, and Swiss camps. All rooms are equipped with air conditioning and attached bathrooms. It was the perfect place to unwind after a day of wedding festivities. The resort offers a great mix of nature and comfort, so you never feel far from the peaceful surroundings.
Food: Let me say – the food was exceptional! There was a vast variety of dishes to choose from, catering to all tastes. From traditional Indian dishes to international options, everything was prepared to perfection. The wedding banquet was a highlight, with beautifully presented dishes that were delicious and full of flavour.
Service: The service at Camp Brook was outstanding. The staff was friendly, professional, and incredibly helpful, making sure that everything went smoothly from the ceremony to the reception. The wedding planners were amazing, working with the couple to ensure every little detail was just right. They are passionate about making your special day perfect.
Overall, Camp Brook is hands down one of the best places for a destination wedding. Would I recommend it? Absolutely! You won’t be disappointed.
