A wedding made of dreams!
To,
The entire team at Whistling Teel, Anjali & of course, our very dear friend and man of the moment, Gaurav the dark horse haha
Our initial readings of Gaurav as a person were quite clear- practical, understanding, quick on his feet, spoke from experience and was someone who had worked hard to make a name for himself. All these factors (along with Nikhil’s wedding of course), led us to be sure that it was whistling Teel that we wanted to go ahead with. None of them however, prepared any one of us for the experience we were to have. To put it simply, we’ve had the best time of our lives.
I’m going to touch the most touchy topic first- decor 😂
All Shef and I have done in each function whilst entering (especially pyaar da pind and the wedding), was notice how every single thing we wanted and imagined within our moodboards was ALL there. I know people say this often, but I do mean it when I say you did make our vision and our dreams come to life. A lot of this credit goes to Anjali (because I know how badly she wanted to get some of the items done for us). In hindsight, I would’ve been a lot less hassled if I’d listened to you when you said “hum kar denge ho jayega” haha
Coming to the thing we all are MOST grateful for- the vendors and the partners you’ve onboarded. From the involvement they’ve personally shown, to the love they have showered on our guests, to the final outcome of their responsibilities- we couldn’t have asked for better and kinder people. Hemantji and his team have not only made the best food, menus and presentation that we could have asked for, but have personally fed people at the wedding and treated it like their family wedding. Sandy was a complete star- from the stirrers, baaraat bottles and the orange peel stamp, to the taste of each cocktail served, he has made everyone super duper happy by remembering each person’s drink during each event. Parth of course, was a smash hit- his songs resonated with every member in the crowd, and his stage presence was impeccable.
Least expected but the most crazy- the Ganga Aarti; this was one thing which we’d discussed but never physically planned out in detail and it turned out SO GOOD. Every single person said that it was a moment they’ll never forget, and blessings they’ll never receive elsewhere.
Kudos to the team for managing logistics between hotels- 3 hotels is a tough one for sure, and nobody I spoke to said they had to wait for a car to ferry them back.
Tuck station was a smash hit, everyone loved that they could pick what they wanted and take as much as they wanted.
Tractor Baaraat, gidda crew and dhol team-people were in awe of the fact that we actually pulled it off. They were INSANELY good and I think my baaraat is the best baaraat I’ve attended (even if I may say so)
Overall, each couple loves to feel like they had their dream wedding- we certainly did. But what makes us immensely happy is that each of the 110 guests has come and told us that never have they attended a wedding like this, and nor do they ever think they will and that’s something that I feel shall make you hold your head up high as an event team.

One of the best decision made to have whistling teel as our wedding planner . The didn't just meet our expectations they went far beyond . The decor was absolutely magical and beautifully done .
Extremely amazing team , proactive , polite , a phone call away , you say it and it gets done - thats how seamless they made our experience .

Whistling Teel were the event managers for my son's wedding at Mussoorie. We found them very professional, approachable and flexible when we sat down to finalize the flow of various events. Their experience in organizing weddings in the hills was very helpful. When the D Day came, incessant rain appeared to be the dampener. However, Team Whistling Teel worked tirelessly without a whimper and ensured that none of our events suffered due to the bad weather. Apart from this they were meticulous with their planning and execution. Everyone who attended this function praised the courtesy and services offered by Team Whistling Teel.
Overall, their services were worth the money spent. -

Flawless Execution, Stunning Decor – A Dream Team to Work With!
We had the pleasure of working with Whistling Teels for my sister’s wedding at Hyatt Dehradun, and the experience was nothing short of exceptional. Having previously worked with decorators for my own wedding in Delhi — and more recently for another function in Delhi for my sister — we had become used to a common pattern: grand promises at the time of booking, followed by last-minute chaos, constant follow-ups, and work still being completed even as guests began arriving.
With Whistling Teels, however, the experience was the complete opposite — in the best way possible.
From the outset, the team was refreshingly honest and transparent about what was feasible. At first, this came across as slightly curt, but in hindsight, it was reassuring to know exactly what to expect with no overpromising. This clarity set the tone for a smooth, stress-free collaboration.
On the actual days of the events, the team truly went above and beyond. Every single setup was completed well ahead of time, and the execution was flawless — we didn’t need to step in even once. Walking into the venue each time was an absolute visual delight. The attention to detail, finishing, and overall aesthetic were simply stunning.
What stood out the most was that guests actively complimented the decor, which, as anyone who’s planned a wedding knows, is quite rare. Whistling Teels managed to bring to life the wedding of our dreams — and then some.
We are deeply grateful to the entire team and would wholeheartedly recommend Whistling Teels to anyone looking for a professional, dependable, and creatively gifted wedding decor team. -
