Hiring Vijay turned out to be one of the biggest regrets of our entire wedding journey. He spoke confidently in the beginning and promised the world — every conversation ended with “Don't worry sir - Hojayega” But once the contract was signed and the first payment was made, everything went downhill.

We hired him to handle venue options, décor, vendors, food, and coordination so we could enjoy our big day. Instead, we found ourselves constantly firefighting. The venue suggestions were completely below expectations, so we ended up doing his work of finding and finalizing our venue on our own. Even after that, there were repeated delays and miscommunication — something as simple as coordinating with the venue became a struggle.

His responsiveness dropped drastically after the first payment. Calls went unanswered, updates were rare, even when we had only 2 -3 months left there were no improvements in the response rate and we were forced to chase him for basic clarity. Out of fear that things would fall apart last minute, we had to source and finalized the caterer and even the photographer ourselves — the exact opposite of what you expect when paying for a planner.

On the wedding day, the décor and setup were nowhere close to what we were promised. The stage, flowers, and overall arrangements looked rushed and unfinished. During our Sangeet, they even took almost two extra hours to set up the stage while guests waited past the scheduled time. Instead of a smooth, well-planned event, the whole atmosphere felt chaotic and unorganized.

What shocked us the most was hearing from our vendors later that they hadn’t been paid the full even after the whole wedding, even though we had cleared everything on our side. Our photographers delayed sharing photos for 8 months because they were still waiting on payment from him. Multiple vendors shared similar feedback about dealing with him.

When we tried to address these issues, instead of accountability or solutions, we got attitude and defensiveness. At one point he even said, “Go ahead and complain — I don’t care,” which told us everything we needed to know about his professionalism.

This review is based entirely on our firsthand experience. We genuinely hope no couple goes through the same stress, disappointment, and extra work on top of wedding emotions. Please do thorough research before hiring anyone. We would not recommend his services don't even think about it!

However, there were some communication hiccups along the way that caused a bit of anxiety during the lead-up to our big day. We would have appreciated more consistent updates and clearer timelines for certain aspects of the planning. This is the primary reason for my 3-star rating.

Despite these minor challenges, Bliss Events managed to create a beautiful and memorable experience for us. The end result was a wedding that exceeded our expectations, and for that, we're grateful. If they could improve their communication and provide more transparency in the planning process, they would undoubtedly be a 5-star vendor.

We hired The Bliss Events, for Ring Ceremony of my cousin. Team staff was very cooperative. Decoration done very well. Photographs we got was excellent. Other services like Food Taste & Entry(Couple) liked by everyone. Budget was avg as per our capcity.
