Good experience
I’m not an easy person during stressful phases. I overthink, I change my mind, and I need things to feel right, not just look right. I was honestly worried that a planner would either bulldoze me with “this is how it’s done” or leave me drowning in decisions.
Regal Sutra did neither.
There was a point, about three weeks before the wedding, when I completely broke down over something very small—the colour temperature of the lights during the pheras. It sounds ridiculous now, but at that moment it felt like the last straw. Instead of brushing it off, they sat with me (literally sat), listened, and then quietly fixed it without making it a “thing”.
On the wedding day, I remember standing backstage thinking, this is strange… I’m not anxious. That had never happened to me before. I was present. I was actually enjoying conversations. I didn’t feel like the manager of my own wedding. That alone makes this experience invaluable to me.
Regal Sutra did neither.

It was good
I tend to look at weddings from a logistical lens, timelines, guest movement, coordination. What impressed me about Regal Sutra was how much groundwork had clearly been done before the events began. There were schedules, contingency plans, and clear responsibilities.
Even when things didn’t go exactly as planned, as they never do. there was no visible panic. Adjustments were made quietly. I wasn’t dragged into problem-solving during the events. As a result, I could actually enjoy conversations with guests instead of worrying about what was happening next.
It felt like the team was always two steps ahead, which gave both of us a lot of confidence.
