If I could give this company 0 stars, I would. We trusted them with our wedding because they were supposed to be one of the oldest and biggest wedding planners in Goa with years of experience in events and destination weddings. We made the mistake of booking them—and it turned out to be the worst decision of our wedding planning.
Serrao took our event on personally, but the moment we paid the deposit, he stopped answering our calls and messages. Instead, he handed us off to an assistant who could never give us final answers. Despite multiple attempts by us to contact him, Serrao refused to meet us or get on call with us—even in the crucial week leading up to the wedding. For someone who claimed to be an expert wedding planner in Goa, this level of unprofessionalism was shocking.
The décor was fine, but everything else was an absolute disaster. The event flow, hospitality, and planning were completely botched. The team was underprepared and it was painfully obvious on the days of the events. Makeup was delayed, communication with our guests and bridal entourage was a mess, and there was no coordination at all between the event managers and the artists we had hired. At some point there was no music playing, and I as the bride had to step away from my guests to sort it out, which is ridiculous when you're paying a premium for a fancy planner. This chaos caused immense stress and confusion during what was supposed to be one of the most beautiful days of my life. Instead of joy, I felt stress, frustration, and disappointment—he came very close to ruining it for us.
When we tried to raise these concerns with Serrao, he was rude, arrogant, and dismissive. Instead of taking responsibility, he made the experience even more unpleasant.
I would strongly warn anyone looking for a wedding planner in Goa or an events company not to hire them. They may lure you in with claims of being the most experienced or the biggest in the business, but once they have your money, you’re left completely on your own.
