Ashish Sent on 22/01/2026Manipulative, Blame-Shifting & Highly Unprofessional Wedding Planners
I hired Fairy Web Stories after finding them on Instagram, and it was one of the worst decisions related to my wedding.
This review is written after a lot of thought, because what happened was not a one-off issue, it was a pattern of inflated pricing, broken promises, manipulation, cheating and blame-shifting, which caused immense stress during my wedding.
Key Issues I Faced:
1. Inflated Vendor Pricing & Lack of Transparency Multiple vendors themselves disclosed that the prices shared with me were inflated by ₹20,000–₹30,000 per vendor. This happened across sound vendors, DJ-on-wheels, vintage car/buggy, fireworks, and other services. I literally have call recordings of vendors stating their dissatisfaction for this entire team. Eventually, the owner Ansh admitted that he marks up vendor prices. Ansh's rebutle to this is because he “coordinates,” despite already charging a separate and significant coordination fee.
2. False Commitment of Single-Point Coordination At the beginning, Ansh clearly promised that he alone would be the single point of contact and coordinator. However, as the event approached, he stopped responding and instead shared numbers of multiple team members, asking me to coordinate with them directly.
As a result, I ended up doing coordination myself on my own wedding, following up with vendors, resolving confusion, managing timelines, while the planner was largely unavailable.
3. Blame Game & Manipulative Behaviour Whenever issues were raised, the narrative was turned around to blame the client — saying I was “talking rudely” or “being impatient.” What was ignored is the fact that there were days with unanswered calls, no callbacks, no updates, and zero communication.
Any frustrated reaction was a result of poor service — not the cause of it. Instead of taking responsibility, there was consistent blame-shifting and denial.
4. Poor Communication During Critical Wedding Moments During the most important phase of the wedding, the team — especially Ansh — was unavailable, unresponsive, and dismissive. Basic coordination expectations were not met, and issues were escalated instead of being absorbed (which is literally the job of an event planner).
5. Broken Promises & Substandard Execution
Fireworks promised as a coordinated electronic show turned out to be basic shots from a single location at highly inflated pricing.
Room hampers were delayed until after guests checked in, and promised quality/materials were not delivered.
Walkie-talkies, dress code, and structured coordination — all promised — were missing.
6. Vendor & Team Confusion Even vendors complained about lack of coordination, unclear instructions, and poor leadership. The production team didn’t know what was planned, design teams were confused, and responsibilities were scattered. The runner were suppose to do work for the bride and groom team. Sadly they were filling gifts in the bags the first half of the day bcoz they were out for a stroll to Ram Mandir instead of reporting to the family to discuss the plan the previous night. Like kids you have to teach them basic manners that have come there for a job and not for personal leisure.
The Only Positive: A couple of junior team members — especially the bride’s and groom's shadow coordinators — were polite and genuinely tried to help. Fortunately, they were exceptions and helped us keep our calm. I still bless them for the work they delivered. MA be bcoz of them we were able to ease our work. Their names were Vansh and Sia. Pure sweethearts.
Final Verdict: This company shows a clear lack of integrity, accountability, and professionalism. They lack empathy and know how of their work. There is consistent misrepresentation, inflated pricing, poor coordination, broken commitments, cheating and a tendency to manipulate narratives when confronted.
If you have already paid them or considering Fairy Web Stories:
1. Speak to vendors directly. Take their phone numbers.
2. Verify every price
3. Take everything in writing
4. Define deductions for non-performance
5. Negotiate by yourself. Don't rely on the.
Personally, I would strongly not recommend them to anyone planning their wedding. No couple deserves to be made the planner at their own wedding.
Also, you can get in touch with me if you want to know more about them bcoz I have dealt with them and can give you perfect perspective of their doings. Even if you guys have hired them, still get in touch to save yourself pain, discomfort and sour experience. This is the best I can do for any couple, as mine surely didn't go as planned. :....(

They are scammer
Most good review here are fake, I can bet on this. My husband and I gave him our wedding project and both of them ruined. Shitty pictures and video. While making video he has no story line. Its been 18 months, we still haven't got our teaser, reel or any video. and the one we got is pathetic, anyone can make or click such videos and pictures. Its stiching all videos togther. no content, no storyline, no effort has been in my project. He looted us 1.7L and i swear the pictures and video is worth nothing, its liking a local kid holding a camera. His team is also shitty, he missed my haldi, they missed my bhat cermony, on the day of my wedding i was bloody following up with them all the damn time - my most special day was busy coordinating with Mansi and cameraman. Mansi knows nothing about her team - she is just face to make ppl believe how good these two are. When you will follow up more, she give bullshit of not living with mandeep and will block you from insta, watsapp, calls etc like they did to us.
These two ruined capturing ourmost precious moments- rather ask your cousin to click i am sure he/she will pur efforts. DO NOT GO THEM - there are worthless.
Also after long 18months, with 1000 calls and msgs - we atleast got our album for which they took additional 30k (i know many jinko aj tak album b nai mili) and album looks pathetic the quality is bad..cheap looking pages. Completely different thn what they showed. And when i asked for the video n highlights- she said she dont have a team.
Mandeep and mansi are scammers.. they are professionals in ruining peoples most special moments -
