I was one of those brides who wanted all her candid wedding moments captured in the most loving manner. My wedding was in 2019, and with shifting to a new city, switching my job, I didn’t get the time to post a review, but I have to get the experience of working with Studio Pep out of my system.
In the process of my search, I came across a friend’s wedding 5-min video highlight and liked how Studio Pep had captured her ceremonies. So my boyfriend and I engaged their services, despite some reservations of my family regarding their work. Of course, Rachit was very insistent on a pre-wedding photography, but we didn’t want to go for one. As I look at the pictures of my ceremonies today, I find only some pictures that stand out among a series of ordinary pictures. And I say this very objectively that the editing of these pictures is subpar. Despite the fact that we had given Rachit a clear idea of the number of our guests, he brought few crew members with him. Resultantly, there was just one photographer standing at the entrance for the pictures. So, either the ladkiwalas had to wait endlessly while the ladkawalas were getting clicked or vice versa. Such things can become a recipe for resentment between families. He and his team didn’t ensure that I have at least ibe picture with my mom on the stage- be it in the engagement or the wedding.
To control the damage, I had to work super closely with him for my wedding album, so that it turns out to be good. I like to give credit where it is due. I would give this to him that he made a beautiful 5-minute wedding highlight. However, he was reluctant to incorporate my edit suggestions in that highlight, and it’s only when I expressed my disappointment at this fact that he came out as more forthcoming. Further, if you look at my full-length ceremony videos, you would hear his photographers hollering in between my engagement dance. That’s the reason I couldn’t post it anywhere. There are segments which look fast-forwarded, and not in a good way. Again, to be fair, on my complaint, he did offer to make a special 45-minute video for me, but by that time, I was so exhausted by the efforts in the album and highlight editing process, that I let it go. I would not recommend him to my friends.

Ceremony full-length video- 2.5/5
And even though Rachit and his team might counter-argue on these points or show one or two pictures that stand out, I stand my ground. If I had even an iota of doubt, I wouldn’t have posted this.

The work you guys deliver is just amazing, beautiful moments captured at such perfect timings. Wonderful teaser, video and just perfect album. Highly recommend.

Brilliant work by these guys. I absolutely have no complaints at all. They were extremely professional and flexble. It was not like an everyday job or someother project for them. Their efforts for a good shoot were clearly evident.
