Our experience with The Palace Farmhouse, Rajni, and Manoj was extremely disappointing.
We visited the venue for our wedding in November. During our initial discussion, Rajni clearly told us that the venue rent was ₹2.5 lakh if we took catering from them, and ₹3 lakh if we arranged catering ourselves. Based on these discussions, we finalized the venue for ₹2.8 lakh and paid an advance of ₹70,000 in cash. We asked for a receipt, which they said they would share. At the time of booking, they were very sweet and polite, which gave us confidence to go ahead.
During the booking, we also discussed decoration. Rajni insisted several times that we should take decoration from her vendor. On the day of booking, her decorator quoted us around ₹3 lakh for the decor. However, after the booking was completed, Rajni suddenly told us that the decoration would cost ₹4.5 lakh. We were shocked because this figure was never discussed before booking.
We then approached other decorators, and most of them quoted us between ₹3 lakh and ₹3.5 lakh for similar work. So we informed Rajni and Manoj that we would like to hire our own decorator.
That is when everything changed.
Manoj became upset and told us that this was not the way to do things and that we could not bring our own decorator. He further said that if we did not take their decorator, the venue rent would be increased to ₹4 lakh.
We were completely stunned because this condition was never discussed before the booking. At no point were we told that refusing their decorator would increase the venue rent to ₹4 lakh. Nothing about this was mentioned verbally before payment, and there was no written agreement stating such a condition.
When we said that we could not continue under these terms, Rajni again tried to convince us by saying they could "adjust" and keep the venue at ₹3 lakh. This only raised more questions for us. If the rent could remain ₹3 lakh, why was it suddenly increased to ₹4 lakh in the first place?
Another thing that made us very uncomfortable was that Manoj started involving himself in family matters and questioned how the wedding decisions had been finalized, saying that it should be the bride's family's decision. We did not appreciate the venue management interfering in personal family discussions.
Only after making the booking did we come across several negative reviews from other customers describing similar experiences. Unfortunately, by then we had already paid the advance.
We also want to make it clear that we never signed any agreement stating that decoration had to be taken from them, that the rent would increase if we hired an outside decorator, or that the booking amount was non-refundable.
After this experience, we decided not to proceed with the venue. Since we were unable to resolve the matter, we have initiated legal proceedings. Even after that, Rajni and Manoj have continued contacting the bride's family directly regarding the matter, which we found completely inappropriate.

Had an amazing time at The Palace Luxury Farm House. A beautiful and peaceful place with a perfect blend of luxury and nature. The ambience, cleanliness, hospitality, and overall experience were excellent. Perfect for relaxing, parties, and spending quality time with friends and family. Highly recommended for a memorable getaway. Thanks will surely visit again -

One of the best banquet hall and venue for party and weddings. Had booked this hall for a get- together, honestly didn’t expect this kind of service and hospitality. Had an amazing time here. The rooms are well maintained and regularly cleaned the house is very beautiful with Indian touch to the furniture, the pool is very clean and maintained. There was no problem at all. Had a stay here for the night with my friend and I wouldn’t recommend any other venue for a party or get together or even a wedding or reception. Truly one of the few gems in Delhi for the required needs, the caretakers were also extremely sweet and welcoming. Honestly, you have to experience the place for yourself if you truly want to see what great hospitality and an amazing stay feels like. Totally and highly recommended!!! -
