Concerning Health & Labor Issues at Gulab Garh Restaurant in Jaipur! 😱
Rajasthan has always been known for its warm hospitality, but our experience at Gulab Garh on 23rd July at 9 PM was absolutely shocking and alarming.
My family and I, along with my sister's family visiting from the USA, had a distressing encounter that demands immediate attention from both the health and labor departments:
1. We were served food on a sticky cushion that was cleaned (right in front of us) with the same broom used on the floor - a serious hygiene hazard! 😷🚫
2. Despite the sweltering climate, the servers were sweating profusely, handling our food without gloves. They used the same hand to wipe sweat repeatedly and serve the food - utterly unhygienic! 🤢🙅♂️
3. The exhaustion of the staff was evident from their tired voices, disheveled appearance, and stinky clothes - they seemed overworked and fatigued. 😓💔
4. When we voiced our concerns, the manager not only shouted at us but also forcefully removed us from the premises, threatening us with dire consequences. This left us feeling fearful and unsafe! 😨🏃♀️
It appears that the restaurant is being run by owners who prioritize profits over the well-being of visitors and staff. Their callous behavior was truly eye-opening.
I humbly request the concerned authorities to conduct a thorough investigation by reviewing the video footage from 9 PM to 9.50 PM on 23rd July, interviewing the staff, and inspecting the kitchen. This is crucial to validate our claims and take appropriate action. 🕵️♂️📹
Our family frequently visits India, and this incident has shattered our trust in the hospitality sector. We fear for the safety of other visitors who might unknowingly face similar appalling conditions. 🌐🛂
Let's unite in demanding justice for this incident and ensuring that Rajasthan's reputation for hospitality remains untarnished. We cannot let greed compromise the health and safety of people. 🤝🏰
