We hired Parleen Kaur Jaiswal (Illustrator) for our wedding invite video and wardrobe planner based on her assurance that she delivers quick turnarounds. That assurance turned out to be completely false.

Despite receiving all required information promptly and advance payment, she consistently failed on the most basic expectations of a professional service provider: timely delivery, honest communication, and accountability.

Throughout the engagement:
• Deadlines were missed repeatedly
• Progress updates were promised and not delivered
• “Almost done,” “sharing today,” and “don’t worry” were used frequently—with no output to back them up
• Communication only happened after repeated follow-ups or direct calls
• She remained active on social media, including travel posts, while ignoring paying clients

When work was finally shared, it was very delayed and below expectations, requiring changes. At that point, we were already so behind schedule that we felt pressured to accept mediocre quality rather than risk further delays—an unacceptable position to put any wedding client in.

What made this worse was the lack of ownership. Instead of acknowledging delays, timelines kept shifting casually—from “tonight” to “tomorrow” to “1–2 more days”—none of which were honored. There was no proactive communication, no realistic planning, and no respect for the fact that wedding invites are tied to immovable dates and family coordination.

Bottom line: This was not an isolated delay—it was a pattern of unreliable behavior.

If you are considering hiring her:
• Do not trust verbal timelines
• Expect to chase constantly
• Be prepared for stress during an already overwhelming wedding phase
• Be ready to compromise on quality just to get something delivered
