Aayushi Sent on 27/01/2026My big day was disaster for me. It is horrifying to recall such a behaviour from our event decorator.
So on my wedding day, our wedding decorator ran away and left the whole 1000sq feet lawn raw and also took all our money.
I was getting ready in the farm i did see that there’s nothing that was done to the farm and it was all a blank canvas, even the garbage wasn’t cleaned for the event that happened last night. And o even spoke to the one of them and he said “tension mat lo hojayega” and then 1.5 hours later when the baraat has arrived i was all decked up with full makeup and i had my shoot planned but i still saw just a blank farm with few tables/some jhoomers here and there and nothing else i was just crying in the bridal room. My dad, brother, friends and sisters were just running here and there to arrange the stage atleast. The baraat had also arrived and nothing was ready. Even my husband to be was just running to make things work. We went to the decorator’s office and took some interns Fromm their to get some work done. By evening my family did something or the other to just make it atleast look like where guests can visit. It was horrible an and worst part is even when we called 2 of the partners they didn’t pick up the calls.that day we made so many calls just to ask them that make it atleast a place that guests can visit atleast but they just ran away and didn’t even care to come back.
It was our hard earned money they took it all but didn’t deliver even 10% of it. Shameless people and even after that they didn’t care to apologise rather they sent police to our house at 3am in the morning to collect chairs from our last night function of mehendi. Just imagine how shameless and they lied about being hospitalised. I mean how can someone not atleast say that they couldn’t do it. They just spoiled my wedding and my in laws felt disrespected. It’s been 2 months and no matter how much i try i can’t forget about the day and how horrible they made my experience and even if they did something wrong shouldn’t they be coming back to atleast give the money back when they have not delivered?? Not action is pending on them? How can someone be so unprofessional. -
