Extremely Disappointing Wedding Experience at Ramada Encore (10th–11th December 2025
This was a new property, and we were the first family to host full wedding functions along with room bookings there. We had pre-booked 62 rooms months in advance. However, upon arrival, we were shockingly informed that only 35 rooms could be given to us because the Indigo airline staff had extended their stay. Prioritizing airline staff over a pre-booked wedding group was highly unprofessional and unacceptable.
Despite booking the venue 8 months prior, the terrace was not prepared as promised. Commitments made during the booking were not fulfilled.
Things worsened during the baraat when members of the Indigo staff threw water from above, creating chaos and humiliation. Instead of managing the situation professionally, the hotel management created further issues and even asked the DJ to pack up and leave. The lighting arrangements were faulty, and the food was served very late — and cold.
It was extremely clear that their priority was accommodating Indigo staff rather than managing a once-in-a-lifetime wedding event.
I would strongly advise anyone planning a wedding or major function to think twice before booking this property. Poor management, broken promises, and lack of basic professionalism made our experience deeply disappointing
