Finding the right bridal makeup artist was one of the biggest decisions for my wedding because I knew the photographs would stay with me forever. I wanted someone who specialised in elegant bridal makeup instead of the typical heavy bridal look. After researching dozens of makeup artists in Mumbai, reading reviews on Google, WeddingWire and WedMeGood, and spending hours looking through portfolios, I finally booked Riti Beauty. Looking back now, I genuinely feel it was one of the best investments I made for my wedding.
The booking process itself was smooth and professional. Every question I asked about timings, products, hairstyling, draping, accessories and the overall bridal schedule was answered patiently. Nothing felt rushed, and I always felt that my wedding was genuinely important to her.
What impressed me even before the makeup started was how much attention she gave to planning. She discussed my lehenga colours, jewellery, skin concerns, hairstyle references, wedding lighting, photography and even the mood I wanted my bridal look to create. That level of preparation gave me a lot of confidence.
On the wedding day she arrived fully prepared with premium products and an organised setup. The hygiene standards were excellent. Every brush, sponge and product was neatly arranged, which immediately reassured me that I was in experienced hands.
The skin preparation was one of my favourite parts because it made my makeup look naturally radiant instead of heavy. My skin looked healthy, hydrated and smooth. The HD makeup finish was exactly what I had hoped for. It enhanced every feature while still allowing my natural skin texture to show through beautifully.
The hairstyle was elegant, comfortable and perfectly suited my face shape. The jewellery setting looked symmetrical from every angle, and the dupatta draping stayed exactly where it was placed throughout the wedding. Even after hours of ceremonies, photographs and dancing, nothing moved out of place.
The makeup felt surprisingly lightweight. I almost forgot I was wearing bridal makeup. There was no dryness, no uncomfortable heaviness and no need to constantly check my face in the mirror. Everything stayed intact for the entire celebration.
When I finally received my wedding album, I was amazed by how beautiful the makeup looked in every lighting condition. Outdoor photographs, indoor lighting, professional flash photography and candid moments all looked equally stunning. The finish looked timeless rather than trendy, which is exactly what every bride hopes for when looking back at her wedding years later.
One thing I really appreciated was that Riti never tried to completely change my face. She enhanced my features, corrected small imperfections and created a polished version of me instead of making me look like someone else. That's something very few makeup artists achieve.
Beyond her talent, she's extremely calm, kind and reassuring. During moments when I felt nervous, she kept reminding me to enjoy the experience and helped make the morning feel relaxed rather than stressful.

I honestly don't think words can fully describe how grateful I am to Riti Beauty for making me feel so beautiful on the biggest day of my life. I got married in Mumbai, and after spending almost two months researching bridal makeup artists on Google, Instagram, WeddingWire and WedMeGood, I kept coming back to Riti's work because every bride looked elegant, timeless and most importantly, like herself.
From my very first WhatsApp conversation, I could tell this wasn't someone who simply applies makeup. Riti took time to understand my skin type, wedding outfit, jewellery, wedding venue, photography style, and the exact kind of bridal look I wanted. I was very clear that I didn't want heavy makeup or an artificial look. I wanted radiant skin, softly defined eyes and makeup that would still feel like me. She completely understood my vision.
On the wedding morning she arrived before time, organised everything beautifully and immediately made me feel calm. Wedding mornings can be stressful but she has such a composed personality that I genuinely enjoyed every moment of getting ready.
The skin preparation itself was incredibly detailed. Every product felt premium and carefully chosen for my skin. She never rushed through any step and explained what she was doing whenever I asked. The base looked absolutely flawless. It blended perfectly into my neck, shoulders and hands without looking white or overdone. My skin still looked like skin, just healthier and more radiant.
The eye makeup was elegant and perfectly balanced. The lashes looked natural, the brows were beautifully shaped without appearing harsh, and the lip shade complemented my outfit perfectly. What impressed me the most was that nothing looked excessive. Every feature was enhanced while still keeping my face completely recognizable.
She also did my bridal hairstyle, jewellery setting and dupatta draping, and honestly everything looked perfectly balanced. Every pin was secure, every accessory sat exactly where it should, and the dupatta placement looked beautiful from every camera angle.
My ceremony lasted for several hours in Mumbai's humidity with constant photography, family rituals, hugs, happy tears and almost no opportunity for touch ups. Even after all that, my makeup still looked exactly the same. There was no creasing, no oxidation, no patchiness and absolutely no cakey finish. My hairstyle remained secure throughout the wedding as well.
The photographers actually complimented my makeup because it looked so natural under professional cameras and flash. When I received my wedding photographs later, I realised just how beautifully everything had translated on camera. The skin looked fresh, the contour looked soft, the eyes stood out naturally and every picture looked luxurious without appearing over edited.
I cannot count how many people asked me who had done my makeup. My relatives, friends and even guests I had never met before complimented the look throughout the day. The biggest compliment came from my husband, who smiled and said, "You look exactly like yourself, only even more beautiful." That is exactly what I wanted.
Apart from her incredible talent, Riti is one of the most genuine, humble and professional people I have met. She listens carefully, respects your preferences and never forces trends that don't suit you. She genuinely wants every bride to feel confident rather than simply wearing makeup.

I received so many compliments throughout the day. My family, friends and even people from the photographer's team kept asking who had done my makeup. The best compliment came from my husband, who said I looked exactly the way he had always imagined, just more radiant and confident. That meant everything to me. -

My wedding ceremony lasted several hours, followed by photography, family rituals and endless hugs, yet the makeup stayed exactly as it was when I first looked into the mirror. There was no creasing, patchiness or oxidation, even in Mumbai's weather. I hardly needed any touch ups. The hairstyle also remained intact throughout the event without becoming messy. -
