Really Horrible Experience at this Banquet

I am extremely disappointed with the overall service and experience. From the very beginning, things were poorly managed. The person who took our booking was not even available on the day of the event, and there was no proper handover or point of contact. When I arrived, I was left on my own to figure out who to speak with — not something one expects when hosting an important gathering.

As I walked in, I was shocked to see the condition of the furniture. It was visibly dirty and stained. When I pointed this out, the staff casually mentioned that since it’s off-season, the furniture is only dry cleaned during peak season. This is completely unacceptable — cleanliness should never be seasonal, especially when hosting clients who expect basic hygiene and presentation.

To add to our frustration, the air conditioning was not functioning properly. Only one duct was working, and multiple guests complained about how hot and uncomfortable it was. It was highly embarrassing for us to receive such complaints during the event, especially when we had trusted your team with this responsibility.

Food was another huge letdown. Despite repeatedly mentioning — both in writing and in person — that the food should be kept low on spice, it was still too spicy for many of our guests. Moreover, I had specifically requested that dahi bhallas be included in the menu, but they were never served. Several guests asked for them multiple times and were disappointed when they weren’t made available.

And if that wasn’t enough, we had requested vanilla ice cream in advance. Instead, strawberry was served without any prior information. When I brought it up, the waiter simply said “Yehi hai” in a very rude and dismissive manner, and placed it in front of us without any courtesy.

This entire experience felt disorganized and careless. For the kind of event we were hosting and the expectations we had set based on your promises, this was truly disheartening. We had trusted your team to deliver a smooth, well-coordinated experience — instead, it caused unnecessary stress and embarrassment in front of our guests.

I sincerely hope you take this feedback seriously and look into these concerns. No one should have to go through this after investing both time and money into planning an important event,
