  . Dead Fly in Food + Cyber Cell Threats — BEWARE of Essex Farms!!!

  We were on the verge of finalizing Essex Farms for our wedding, but thank god we didn’t make that blunder. This place is an absolute disgrace hiding behind a shiny facade and fake reputation.
  
  🚨 Hygiene Nightmare:
  During food tasting (which they only allow after you pay ₹2100), they served us food WITH A DEAD FLY IN IT — yes, a damn fly straight from their kitchen. We’re not making this up. We’ve attached the photo. The food was covered and served directly from their kitchen—there is NO excuse for this revolting negligence. Instead of apologizing or showing an ounce of shame, they tried to gaslight us and pretend like it was “normal.” Are you serious?
  
  Still Charged Us ₹2100:
  After feeding us fly-infested food, these jokers still had the audacity to charge us. Zero remorse, no goodwill gesture, no refund — just smug faces and arrogance. Their attitude screamed, “Take it or leave it.”
  
  🤮 Food Quality = PATHETIC:
  Forget the fly — the rest of the food was disgusting.
  
  Noodles were so salty we couldn’t swallow a bite.
  
  Gulab jamun? Diabetes on a plate.
  
  Other items? Utter garbage.
  This wasn’t some rushed buffet — this was a small, curated tasting during a live function of 300 people, and they still served trash.
  
  ⚠️ Now They’re THREATENING Us:
  And here’s the cherry on top — when we posted a genuine, honest review of our experience, their team had the nerve to threaten us with a Cyber Cell complaint. For what? Telling the truth? Absolute cowards.
  
  🛑 Official Complaint Filed:
  We’ve reported this to FSSAI and won’t rest until this place is held accountable. You don’t deserve to host weddings when you can’t even serve basic hygienic food or handle criticism like adults.
  
  To anyone considering Essex Farms: RUN. Don't walk — RUN AWAY.
  
  This venue is all style, zero substance. If they can’t maintain kitchen hygiene or accept accountability, they have no business in the hospitality space.

  Read Before Booking – Our Honest Experience with Essex Farms

  Pathetic. They serve regular water n not packed ones. The food n water is contagious. Everyone who attended the wedding here with me is suffering from severe food poisoning including me. This place should be shut down. Service is pathetic as well. Waiters are arrogant. Nothing about this place was good. If you're reading this review then please be sure not to eat anything here if attending any function.

  Good experience.

  Food was like ok not up to the mark rest of everything was very nice. The decoration was amazing we liked it. The staff of the venue was very cooperative and helpful and they did an amazing job in terms of handling guest. This property was very pretty.

  Great Venue

  We booked Essex Farms in South Delhi as our wedding venue. It was a great experience. Everything was included from their end. The decor was also good and as per our expectations. Their hospitality was top-quality. Quite understanding management, they did everything smoothly.

  Amazing Venue

  We have booked Essex farms for my engagement, and we have been booking this venue from our parents generations and their services are good , they also have a parking spot and their catering and décor was good too and the staffs were helpful too. The only thing that was changed in Essex farms and they have now turned into self service caterers, earlier they use to serve the food through staffs.

  Excellent Venue

  We had booked Essex for a small wedding party and everything turned out to be good and there was a limited number of guest, food and décor was really amazing in the venue and the person who managed was really helpful.

  Great food and cooperative staff!

  My engagement was celebrated here and the covid norms were followed here and it was very nice. Just 3-4 days before my engagement, the Delhi government announced that there will only be 50 people allowed in gatherings. They were very cooperative and we had a lovely time with them. They did not charge extra from us. The only issue I faced was that there was no proper service and serving of the food. Rest all good. Food quality was really good and fabulous.

  Beautiful place

  We organised my sister’s roka ceremony in this venue. The entire staff and service was very nice and professional. The decor and food was very well taken care by them.

  Nice Venue! Food can be Better

  Essex farms is a very spacious venue! The lightings and decor are good! The staff offers responsive and professional services! but the food quality here is not up to the mark!
