I am writing this feedback with extreme displeasure and disappointment basis my horrific experience with Club Tivoli.
Despite having sent them the requirements well in advance, sending a message cancellation text just 3 days before the event is an act they should be ashamed of.
1. They raised an issue with the number of people 3 days before the event. If they had asked for the menu well in advance and we had sent you the requirements a week in advance, why was there a delay in stating this issue?
We had to inform all our guests 2 days before the event that it is cancelled. By any standards, this is totally unprofessional.
2. Simply putting the blame on your potential clients will not suffice. Stating the reason for cancellation as "I was not reachable" is completely false and a lie. They call using unknown numbers and after that lie. I got no missed calls, no notifications, nothing. They had 3 mobile numbers, we got no calls on any of them. COMPLETE LIE.
We had been talking on whatsapp earlier as well. All of a sudden they say that our messages were not delivered to me even though I received all the other broadcasted messages from them yesterday. ANOTHER LIE.
3. Cancelling over a text? I got no call/ missed call message/whatsapp anything. atleast they could have sent me a message that they wanted to talk. A totally cheap thing to do.
Seriously, at least be apologetic and empathetic towards for potential clients.
This has been an extremely appalling experience and would never recommend it to anyone.
